Dr. Sharath Kumar
Dr. Sharath Kumar is the Co-Founder and Consultant at Atharva Specialty Health Care, a renowned healthcare facility in Vijayanagara 3rd Stage, Mysore. With an extensive portfolio of medical expertise, he also serves as a Consultant at Bhanavi Hospital, Mysore, and a Visiting Consultant at Narayana Hrudalaya, G.C. Multispecialty Hospital, Suraksha Hospital, Maurya Hospital, and several other prominent hospitals in Mysore. Since March 2023, he has been offering his services as a Freelance Surgeon across multiple reputed hospitals in and around Mysore.
Dr. Sharath's academic journey began with an MBBS and an MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the prestigious SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad, under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He further refined his skills by earning a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine and Endoscopy from the University of Schleswig Holstein–Keil, Germany, and a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery from SDM University, Dharwad. Additionally, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Sonography from the Institute of Ultrasound, Delhi, recognized by the Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute (USA) and Global Open University (UGC Approved).
Dr. Sharath has also attained Fellowship in Cosmetic Gynecology and Sexual Medicine in collaboration with the University Medicine Greifswald, Germany, and the Indo-German Board of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery, Delhi. With over five years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, he has significantly contributed to training future medical professionals.
Specializing in Scarless Hysterectomy, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, High-Risk Pregnancy Management, Ultrasonography, Cosmetic Gynecology, Urogynecology, and Fertility Treatment, Dr. Sharath Kumar is also a certified ECLS (Emergency Care and Life Support) Instructor who has trained over 200 MBBS doctors. His academic pursuits include completing a Basic Course in Biomedical Research from ICMR. In 2022, he was honored as a faculty member at the "Shock in Obstetrics" workshop during the Karnataka State Obstetrics and Gynecology Conference in Hubli.
